Srinagar, June 28 :A 3 day intensive deep cleanliness drive started at Astan Sharief Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) at Khankah e Moulla Srinagar ahead of Urs-e-Shah-e-Hamdan (RA), Mayor Srinagar Juniad Azim Mattu personally initiated the drive .
He was accompanied by Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Arif Raja ,Exen (Mech) , Ward Officer and concerned field staff.
This is the most intensive cleaning of the revered shrine in recent memory. SMC Sanitation teams also joined effort said Mayor Srinagar.
Mattu who personally participated in the cleanliness drive said that Every square foot of the revered shrine is being cleaned — both outside and inside Khanqah-e-Moula now by teams of youth volunteers and SMC Sanitation.
While greeting people he said We look forward to have people/ devotees here for the Urs-e-Mubarak.
