Srinagar, June 27 : A massive fire broke out in a residential house at Shahi Hamdan Colony, Umarabad HMT area in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
An official from the fire and emergency department told GNS that a fire broke out in a double-storeyed residential house at Shahi Hamdan Colony, lane number 2, HMT Srinagar.
Soon after the incident, the fire tenders were rushed to the area to douse the flames, he said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the official said, adding there were no reports of any loss of life or injury reported so far.
