Rajdhani Express halt at Kathua to resume from July 1: Jitendra

Jammu, June 18 :The halt of Rajdhani Express at Kathua is to be resumed from July 1, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, who is also the Member of Parliament from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Constituency, said on Saturday.

In a series of tweets, Singh said, “Celebrations #Kathua! #RajdhaniExpress stop restored. Yet another reiteration of PM @narendramodi ji’s deep personal and sensitive concern for #JammuAndKashmir.
“The popular demand from the public to resume the stoppage of Delhi-Jammu #RajdhaniExpress at Kathua was placed before the concerned authorities. Accordingly, the Minister of Railways, @AshwiniVaishnaw has issued orders that the stoppage at Kathua will be resumed from 1st July.
“Thanks so very much Ashwini ji for your prompt follow-up,” he added.
