Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh on Saturday welcomed the government decision Of E rickshaw service in Srinagar City.

Srinagar, June 18: In a statement, Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh Chairman M Altafdar Rajbagh said that E Rickshaw service  had brought cheer to the Senior citizens, Residents,Women Folk, Students,Traders/Business Fraternity  Of The Srinagar City. The tremendous popularity of e-rickshaws in the Srinagar City areas for neighbourhood commuting by senior citizens and others needs to be looked at closely for introduction of similar services in other Routes, Moving at a relatively slow speed through the inner lanes of City.

Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Management Demand E Rickshaw Service To Be Started At Earliest From Lal Chowk To Kursoo Rajbagh,Zero Bridge.Dalgate To Kursoo, Rajbagh,Zero Bridge.Maharaja Bazaar To Jawahar Nagar,Ikraj Pora, Radio Colony, Rajbagh,Kursoo,Zer Bridge,picking up passengers on the way and charging as little as ₹10 per ride, the e-ricks will become immensely popular,Residents complained often during society meetings and many had requested a solution.

“The e-rickshaws are pollution free as they run on battery, they are cost effective and it could help residents,There will be a huge response from residents ,It will help people travel within the locality,“It takes almost six hours of battery charging to get them fully functional.

Falah E Aam Behbood Committee Rajbagh  Management/Chairman M Altafdar Rajbagh demand that LG Administration,District Administration, R T O Kashmir,Traffic Department For needed permission to ply them on the roads at the time. E-rickshaws or battery operated rickshaws Will be  gaining popularity in many cities over auto and cycle-rickshaws, as it will prove more affordable for commuters over shorter distances
