New Delhi, June 17: India recorded 12,847 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of active cases to 63,063 in

the country, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

As many as 14 fresh fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the total deaths blamed on the pandemic in the country to 5,24,817.

The active cases now comprise 0.15 percent of the total infections while the national recovery is 98.64 per cent.

Meanwhile, 7,985 recoveries took place in the last 24 hours, increasing the total to 4,26,82,697.

According to the Ministry, 85.69 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
