Srinagar, June 13 :A group of Congress workers on Monday staged a protest inside the party headquarters here against the summons issued to party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate, witnesses said.
The protesters held placards and chanted slogans against the BJP.
Senior leader Taj Mohi-ud-Din said the BJP government from the very beginning had used agencies like the ED, CBI and NIA against opposition parties.
“ED should immediately withdraw the summons,” he said. The protest ended peacefully.
