Transfer list of KP’s on social media a big security breach: Altaf Thakur

Urges Govt to act against officials involved; says list on social media helps terrorists  know who is posted where

Srinagar, June 4:Taking a strong note of the fresh transfer list of Kashmiri Pandit employees making rounds on social media, BJP JK spokesman Altaf Thakur today said the  making  the transfer list public  on social platforms is a big security breach as terrorists have now clear idea who is posted where.
In a statement issued here, Thakur said it was surprising to see the fresh transfer list of Kashmiri Pandit employees out in the public. “This is a security  breach as terrorists have clear idea who is posted where,” he said.
Thakur said that government must take strong note of it and find out who is making the fresh transfer list of migrant KPs public at a time when target killings are taking place in the Valley. BJP JK spokesman said that officers involved in the act must be reprimanded and action should be taken against them. He said government was taking serious steps for the protection of Kashmiri Pandits but some officials are playing spoil sport. He also urged officers not to make the transfer list of KPs public given its sensitivity.
