Maha ATS arrests youth from Kishtwar for ‘terror links’

Jammu, June 2 :The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) from Maharashtra on Thursday arrested one youth on alleged terror links from Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.


Police sources said the ATS team had arrested one person in Pune for his alleged links with Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist outfit and during investigation it was found that he was involved in wooing youth with money to join terrorist ranks.
“On his disclosure, ATS team from Pune also raided in Kashmir and then Jammu region,” sources said.
They said in Kishtwar, one Aftab, resident of Patimahala, Kishtwar, was arrested for his alleged terror links.
“The ATS team on Transit remand from Kishtwar court shifted the arrested youth to Pune for further investigation,” sources added.
