15th Session of General Council held

Srinagar, June 2 :The   15th session of General Council of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) was today held   under the chairmanship of Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azeem  Mattu  was   in SMC.
During the session the Corporators put forth  various issues of their concerned wards with regard to developmental works and other issues.
Issues related to drainage works, vital steps for beautification of  Srinagar city , improvisation in sanitation including scientific mechanism of garbage disposal , building permissions and the issues pertaining to public importance were discussed at length.
All the  listed questions raised by corporators were answered  at the end of the session.
Mayor on the occasion while  hearing the different issues pertaining to the wards of different Corporators assured that all the issues will be resolved at an earliest and in this regard also passed on direction to the concerned Officers to expedite the works in  an ongoing process including construction of lanes, drains, community halls, community toilets ,public toilets etc  with its execution as per the priority of the Corporator and within a stipulated time.
Besides  Commissioner SMC  Athar Amir Khan  all the Corporators and senior Officers of the Corporation of all the wings were present in the council.
