Baramulla Police organises first-of-its-kind Road Drug Awareness Camp at Palhallan

Baramulla, May 28: District Police Baramulla under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Rayees Mohammad Bhat organized first-of-its-kind Road Drug Awareness Programme in main market Palhallan along Srinagar–Baramulla highway here.

SDPO Pattan Mohmmad Nawaz Khanday alongside DO Police Post Palhallan Athar Parvaiz on the eve sensitized the students and pedestrians about the ill-effects of drug abuse and advised them to be part of the social awareness process regarding drug menace.

SDPO appealed to parents to keep a close watch on the activities and behaviour of their wards and be conscious towards them.

Locals and public representatives of Palhallan area appreciated the role of Baramulla Police, particularly of Police Sub-division Pattan for its action against drug mafia.

SHO Pattan Nisar Ahmad Bhat and other senior citizens of the area were also present on the occasion.
