Altaf Demands Adequate Compensation To Hailstorm Hit Orchardists, Farmers

Urges implementation of crop insurance scheme & KCC loan waiver _

Baramulla 28 May: Provincial Secretary Apni Party and noted social activist expressed his grave concern over the damages caused to apple & other crops due to heavy hailstorm in Rafiabad and other areas

 

In an issued statement to the press, Altaf demanded adequate compensation to affected fruit growers & farmers who suffered losses due to repeated natural calamities

Altaf urges the government to depute the teams to affected areas comprising horticulture agriculture & revenue to assess the losses & compensate them at the earliest.

Altaf again demands the implementation of a crop insurance scheme & KCC loan waiver which will save the orchardists, and farmers at the time of losses due to natural calamities thus helping in reviving the apple industry.
