District Admin Ganderbal held mega public outreach program at Hatbura

Ganderbal, May 25: In order to redress the issues of people at their door steps, district administration Ganderbal today organized a mega public outreach program at Panchayat Ghar Hatbura, block Shairpathri.

The camp was organized as part of weekly block diwas which was jointly presided over by the District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson, Nuzhat Ishfaq and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir. DDC Vice Chairperson, Bilal Ahmad was also present on the occasion.

 

The camp witnessed overwhelming participation of locals and PRIs of block Shairpathri who apprised the DDC Chairperson and DC about various issues and grievances and sought their intervention for early redressal.

 

DDC members concerned and BDC chairperson Shairpathri were also present on the occasion.

 

Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, ACR, ACD, DPO, DySP HQ, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and other field functionaries of various departments were present during the camp.

 

On the occasion, The DC was apprised about various issues faced by the people of the area like pump station for lift irrigation, macdamization, upgradation of High School Shalabugh, Fire station, play grounds, public transport service and other issues of public importance.

 

The DC gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the PRIs and locals and assured redressal of all possible grievances and issues raised in a time bound manner.

 

While replying issue of poor public transport service in the area, the DC said that transport service issue is already into consideration and will be resolved soon.

While interacting with the locals the DC said that purpose of holding public grievance camp is to have firsthand appraisal about the developmental needs and issues faced by the people and provide onset redressal of possible issues besides, to ensure quality disposal of grievances in a time bound manner.

 

DDC Chairperson also assured the locals that the issues and demands put forth would be taken up with the concerned departments for timely redressal.
