DDC Chairperson inspects arrangements for Kheer Bhawani Mela

Ganderbal, May 25: District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson, Nuzhat Ishfaq today visited Kheer Bhawani Tullamulla and inspected the arrangements for celebration of annual Kheer Bhawani Mela.

On the occasion the DDC Chairperson inspected the arrangements for lodging, sanitation, public utilities, cleanliness of Tullamulla Nallah and other allied arrangements.

The representatives of Dharmath Trust briefed the Chairperson about the arrangement being put in place for smooth celebration of mela.

Nuzhat Ishfaq directed the officers and representatives of Dharmarth Trust to ensure that the devotees coming to pay obeisance are provided with requisite facilities and fool-proof mechanism should be put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the Mela.

The DDC Chairperson was accompanied by District Panchayat Officer and other officials from civil and police during the visit.
