Students protest on poor transport service in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, May 24 : Students from various educational institutes of of Gutilbagh area in Ganderbal District held a protest and blocked the Srinagar-Kargil road against the non-availability of transport facilities.


The aggrieved students blocked the road for quite some time and halted traffic movement in the area.
They were demanding regularly and timely transport facility for the students. They alleged due to absence of adequate transport facility the students reached late to their respective educational institutions thereby affected their educational career.
After getting information, Police reached the spot and assured the protesting students that their issue will be resolved in the shortest possible time.
On the assurance, the protesting students dispersed and vehicular movement was restored on the road.
