BDC Chairperson Nagrota inaugurates 2nd phase of block level orientation prog for Youth Club Members, Volunteers

Jammu, May 19: Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, today inaugurated the second phase of 3 day Block level Orientation Programme at Youth Hostel Nagrota.

 Around 80 Youth volunteers and Youth club members hailing from different villages of Nagrota are taking part in the youth Orientation Programme.

BDC Chairperson Nagrota, Rehmat Ali was the Chief Guest and Kishore Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch was the guest of honour at the inaugural function.

Addressing the Youth, the Chief Guest said that the training being imparted to participants was for their development and upliftment and advised them to spread this message in their villages as a good ambassador.

Kishore Kumar Sharma, said that Youth were the backbone of a Nation and they have immense role to play in Nation Building. He stressed on education of children,    particularly Girls to make India a strong and prosperous country.

Nisar Ahmed Butt, State Director (I/C), NYKS, J&K and Ladakh, while addressing the participants, elaborated and highlighted the Key features of the Programme and urged them to become the true students  and worthy citizens of the country.

The Resource persons Manoj Bhalla and Dasandi Manhas from SBI Life on Investment and savings, Rakshit Ganjoo and Ashish Janwal from SBI Mutual Funds  delivered lectures on  investment in mutual funds and other schemes.

 Manoj Gupta, Inspector from Cyber Police station delivered a lecture on ‘Cyber-crime and prevention’.
