Srinagar, May 17 : Directorate of Health Services Kashmir Tuesday observed ‘World Hypertension Day’ across all major health facilities in Kashmir division.
Deliberating on the eve with this year’s theme ‘Measure your blood pressure accurately, control it, live longer’, Director Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather stressed upon the need of prevention and early diagnosis of hypertension to prevent various complications and for leading a healthy life.
Saying that screening facilities and diagnostic tests are available at all NCD clinics in district and sub-district hospitals, in addition to all PHC’s and health and wellness centres, Rather further urged people to make the most of facilities being provided to them.
