Annual Sports Day function held in Pologround sports complex

Secretary Sports Council felicitates the participants

Srinagar, 14 May: Delhi Modern Public School, Pampore in collaboration with J&K Sports Council organises Annual Sports day 2022 in iconic Pologround playfield Srinagar.


More than 1200 School students and parents were present on the ocassion besides staff members of the respective school and many officials of the J&K Sports Council.
Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gull presided over the function as the chief guest and felicitated the participants of the event, prominent among them being the medalists of the recent 5th Pencak Silat Federation Cup 2021-22.
School children presented many drills and Sports Skills on the ocassion which left the audience spellbound.
Secretary Sports Council while interacting with participants asked for a feedback as to what can be done to further strengthen the training and coaching at the grassroots level. She also assured the school of her support in all the sports endeavours in future.
Secretary Sports Council was flanked by Neelofar Mantoo, Administrator, DMPS, S.N Geelani, Founder Delhi Modern Public school,  Principal DMPS and Mohammed Iqbal,Manager Pologround sports complex Council and other guests were present on the occasion
The function culminated with Pencak Silat demonstration and  “say no drugs” oath by all the participants.
