DG IMPA finalizes arrangements for upcoming Regional Conference on “Bringing Citizens and Government Closer – Through Administrative Reforms”

Srinagar, May 13: Director General, Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development,  Saurabh Bhagat, chaired an officers’ meeting regarding finalization of arrangements to be put in place for upcoming Regional Conference on theme “Bringing Citizens and Government Closer – Through Administrative Reforms”.

The conference is a sequel to Kashmir Aelamia Declaration of Good Governance issued on July 02, 2021, in the Regional Conference on “Replication of Good Governance Practices” held last year.

The event is being jointly coordinated by Nodal Departments including J&K IMPARD and ARI & Trainings, J&K government.

Director General emphasized the need of putting in place all requisite arrangements in time in view of high profile visit of several dignitaries including Additional Secretaries from different Ministries, 38 PM Awardees and delegation of DARPG officers to Srinagar for their participation in the Regional Conference. He informed that officers from more than 10 states and Union Territories including officers from the UT of J&K will attend the Conference.

Pertinently, the Regional Conference would be organized at SKICC on 16th and 17th May, 2022 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating the 75th year of India’s independence. MoS, PMO, Jitendra Singh and Lieutenant Governor of J&K are expected to be the guests of honour at the conference.
