Candlelight protest held across Baramulla against recent killings

Srinagar, May 13:  A peaceful candlelight protest was held against recent killings including of migrant in Chadoora across north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Friday.

Reports reaching GNS said that the candlelight protest was held in Tangmarg by various associations of traders and Transporters in main Tangmarg.

Similarly reports of candlelight protest were recieved from Pandu Park in Pattan. Also candlelight protest March was reported from Kreeri, Bonyar, Mirgund and Gauntamulla Colony Sheeri.

Report said that a number of people joined the protests against the recent killing and demanded a halt into such “acts of killing innocents.”

The protesters later dispersed off peacefully.
