Principal Secretary  , Advisor to Government of J&K on Smart Cities  and Chairman Sabarmati River front Development Corporation along with Commissioner SMC visited  all the traffic  junctions 

Srinagar, May 11 :Principal Secretary to Government Housing and Urban Development Department Deeraj Gupta , Advisor to Government of J&K on Smart Cities  and Chairman Sabarmati River front Development Corporation  Keshav Verma along with Commissioner SMC  Athar Amir Khan  visited  all the traffic  junctions placed by SMC in the Srinagar City  to  review Adaptive Traffic Control Signal (ATCS)/ Traffic lighting poles at various junctions of Srinagar City.
Chief Engineer SSCL ,SSP traffic, Engineers of R&B and SMC were present on the occasion.
During  Gupta’s visit to different junctions many issues were  raised and discussed at length.
Directions were given for smooth regulation of traffic and and to expedite the process of installing  sinages on the roads including zebra crossing and related signages for smooth flow of traffic and pedestrian movement.
The grills/ fencing  that acts as obstruction in smooth flow of traffic and pedestrians movement at various places were directed to remove on the occasion.
 The concerned assured that all the grills acting as  obstruction will be removed promptly and the work for installation of sinages and other related works  has already  got  started  effectively keeping in view not to hamper smooth flow of traffic.
