On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr Srinagar Mayor participated in the congregational prayer at the Hazratbal Shrine

Srinagar, May 3 :Mayor  Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu participated in the congregational prayers at the Hazratbal shrine on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
 He prayed for the lasting peace and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He extended his wishes to people on the occasion and hoped that the essential message of Ramzan, which is self control, selflessness and humility, will remain the hallmark of our collective behaviour the year ahead too.
He also took stock of measures the Administration has put in place to ensure safe and healthy Eid. The Mayor also enjoined upon the Administration to stay alert to the needs of people on the occasion of Eid.
