1 Killed, Another Injured in Kupwara Tractor Accident

Kupwara, May 2 : A person was killed and another injured after a moving tractor they were on rolled down in Hatmulla area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told GNS that a tractor rolled down at Wogbal in Hatmulla this afternoon, resulting in on spot death of one person and injuries to another.

The official said the deceased person has been identified as Mamdin Jinder, 50, son of Ali Mohammad Jinder, resident of Wogbal Kupwara and the injured as (Driver) Bahudin Shah, 40, of Karihama Kupwara.

The injured person was removed to SDH Kupwara for treatment, he further said.

Meanwhile a police official confirming the incident to GNS said that a case is being registered in this regard for due investigations.
