Army organises Iftar Milan at Chhatroo

Kishtwar, May 1: With an aim to foster and reinforce the spirit of peace and communal harmony in the region, Indian Army organised IFTAR Milan at village Chhatroo in Kishtwar District, the other day.

The event provided a platform to the local populace from all religions and different walks of life to interact with each other on common issues and celebrate the auspicious month of Ramzan with a noble aim to strengthen the bond between awam and jawan. A total of 287 locals attended the IFTAR Milan, asked prayers, enjoyed Iftar and shared thoughts .

The local populace and Community leaders expressed hope that such events will give a fillip to communal harmony in the region and awam with jawan will move together for the betterment of the society and the region.
