Celebration of World Veterinary Day-2022 with budding Veterinarians at 54 Advance Field Veterinary Hospital, Haft Chinar, Srinagar

Srinagar, April 30:A lecture cum training workshop on nuances of Equine Management was organised at 54 Advance Field Veterinary Hospital, Haft Chinar, students and staff from College of Veterinary Sciences Srinagar, attended it.   The aim was to strengthen the veterinary profession in J&K by sharing professional knowledge with budding veterinarians on equine manages mental practices.  The event also aimed at increasing interaction between the veterinary fraternities in J&K and exposing budding veterinarians to noble profession as a veterinary doctor in army for service of the nation. They were also made aware of the positive changes that they could make in the society and generate employment opportunities in the unemployed youth.

 

A string of Vet aid camps were also conducted at Khunmoh and Khundru to mark solidarity of the veterinarians with the local farmers, livestock and pet owners. A remarkable response to the effort of 54 Advance Field Veterinary Hospital was observed at both the locations. This event will certainly induce cohesiveness and improved veterinary technical expertise in the UT.
