Uri, April 25 : A woman was killed after a shooting stone hit her head in Kamalkote area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this afternoon.
Reports reaching GNS said that a woman namely Husan Fatma, wife of Syed Nasar Husan resident of Kamalkot Uri, was hit by a shooting stone while she had taken a cow for grazing in a nearby forest area.
The woman was removed to PHC Sultankadi by her parents, where the doctors however declared her as brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile a police official has also confirmed the death of the woman.
