Safe At Home: Police Rejects Rumour About Malwah Resident’s Killing

Srinagar, April 23 : Police on Saturday rejected rumours regarding the killing or arrest of a resident of Malwah area of Baramulla district where wanted LeT commander and his two associates were killed in a gunfight earlier this week.

“Mischievous, utterly fake and maliciously instigatory news is being shared over social media that a resident of Malwah, the site of the encounter which started on 21st April in the wee hours, viz. Farooq Ahmad Parray, has been killed by forces or taken away,” Baramulla police said in a tweet.

“The alleged news has been verified and is found to be completely untrue. The individual is safe and at home,” the police added.
