Budgam, Apr 19, Cop on guard duty at police station Budgam fired upon the militants who lobbed a grenade at the police station on Tuesday late evening.
Police said that militants hurled a grenade towards police station Budgam that exploded out the gate of the police station.
The alert sentry as per police fired upon the militants, however, they managed to escape from the spot.
Shortly after the incident, area has been cordoned off and a search operation was launched.
Police said that all nakas have been created to stop militants from escaping from the area. (KNT)
