Srinagar, April 12: Director General, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD), Saurabh Bhagat, today chaired an online review meeting on “District Good Governance Index Dashboard (DGGI Dashboard)”.

DG, Economics and Statistics, Satvir Kour Sudan, Regional Directors, E&S, Director Trainings, JKIMPARD, Chief Planning Officers (CPOs) and District Statistics Officers (DSOs) attended the meeting.

Director General informed that the high powered committee has decided to capture data changes in the sectoral performance on monthly basis. This will inculcate a spirit of competitiveness thereby improving performance of districts.

Director General further informed that as part of DGGI initiative, digital dashboard for DGGI has been designed and is being operationalized with the assistance of National informatics Centre (NIC), New Delhi and J&K IMPARD so as to monitor performance of various sectors and indicators on a common digital platform.

He apprised that login IDs and passwords have been provided to officers for punching in data entries for the month of February and March, 2022, on a trial run. In this connection, the DGGI Dashboard reports of four districts including Anantnag, Jammu, Budgam and Reasi have been generated on April 11th, 2022, on pilot basis so that technological glitches, if any, and improvement in the data analysis of the report could be worked upon by the concerned agencies.

DG informed that inauguration of Digital Dashboard has been preponed from May 14th to April 28th.
