Chairman DDC Budgam, Div Com Kashmir felicitate faculty for exemplary work
Budgam, Mar 30:A daylong Annual Day Function was held today at Government Degree College Khansahib, Budgam.
Chairman DDC Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole graced the occasion.
Among others, the program was also attended by BDC chairman, SDM Khansahab, other officers and officials concerned besides large of number of students alongwith faculty and staff of college.
Div Com congratulated the Principal GDC Khansahab, entire facility, staff and all students for organizing first annual day functions in college. He said that educational institutions give new birth and shape the future and destiny of students.
Good teachers encourage all students, he remarked.
Div Com assured that all issues concerning the college shall be resolved at the earliest.
Discussion on introduction of post-graduation courses in the college is a welcome step and shall be looked into, he said.
The Div Com also released Annual College Magazine ‘Noor’ on the Annual Day function at GDS Khansahib.
During his speech, Principal GDC Khansahib formally welcomed the Guests and students.
He said that construction of park, playing ground has been completed and termed the college as excellent academic institution located in the lap of unique and serene topographic view of Khansahib.
The faculty staff of GDC was felicitated by the Div Com for their exemplary work and dedication in imparting quality education to the students.
During the program, many college Students and NCC volunteers were felicitated for the meritorious results and outstanding work.
A series of cultural programmes were performed by various artists from Habba Khatun Group and students which enthralled the audience.
