Ramban: DC, President MC inaugurate open air Gymnasiums & children games facility at Maitra Park

Ramban, Mar 29:  Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam and President Municipal Council, Ramban Sunita Sumbria   today  inaugurated  the open air Gymnasiums and   children games facility here at Municipal Park Maitra.

  Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohita Sharma; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma; CEO, MC, Vishwajeet,  Councilor MC, Raj Kumar, Gopal Raina, Nisha Parihar and others were also present at the inaugural ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the requisite funds were provided to MC Ramban for the establishment of the open air Gymnasiums and children games facility to promote the Park as an outing place for the residents of Ramban town .

After the inauguration ceremony, the DC interacted with the locals and children of the area and advised them to take full advantage of the facility and take care of the assets developed for them.

“Th Gym facility has been created for the youth and children for reaching the required fitness levels and also to channelize their energy in a constructive way under youth engagement program.  With features like the ease of accessibility and free usage, it may even entice the un-initiated residents into a healthier lifestyle”, he added.

 Councilor MC, Raj Kumar informed  that the Open-Air Gym was equipped with facilities like air walkers, arm wheel, twister,  waist and back relaxer, cross-walkers, sit-up benches etc, which are tamper and weather-proof machines.
