Imam Din awarded Gold Medal at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi

Dedicates award to public for their grand support

Kupwara, Mar 25: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din was awarded Gold Medal by Union Health Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan Delhi on the eve of World Tuberculosis Day.

The award was given for achieving the gold category for the district, which is Tuberculosis elimination/reduction of more than 60 percent category.
Addressing the media, the DC congratulated health employees of Kupwara district, District Administration for their sincere and dedicated work and above all to the whole public of Kupwara district for their grand support to make Kupwara under the gold category.

Imam Din said that he is dedicating the award to the people of Kupwara as a token of love and goodwill gesture for their grand support.

In a message, Imam Din urged upon the employees of the Health department to continue their efforts for achieving excellence in other fields also.

The DC also stressed upon employees of other departments to take advantage of sincere and dedicated efforts of the Health department and make public services more vibrant and excellent in the district.

Meanwhile, a function was held at D.C. Office Kupwara in which the officers and staff celebrated the success of the district in achieving the Gold category standard for the district. The officers and employees congratulated the DC for his sincere and dedicated leadership.
