Dir YSS Chairs Review Meeting Of DYSSOs

Deptt to launch mega Plantation Drive across J&K on 28th March: Gazanfar Ali

Jammu March 25: Director Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K Gazanfar Ali chaired an important physical cum virtual meeting of all the DYSSOs of both the divisions of the UT and engineering wing of J&K Sports Council. While discussing the physical and financial status of works under Capex 2021-22.


Director, YS&S impressed upon all the district officers to keep a close track of the works being carried out in their respective districts. He strictly directed his subordinate officers for the utilisation of funds within the stipulated time. A detailed review of the activities being organised across UT was also taken by Gazanfar Ali.
In his concluding remarks Director Sports said, “Dear colleagues, I’m really happy that most of you have shown good results while chasing this year’s targets. In a few districts I have noticed less enthusiasm, which can still be avoided by putting efforts with zeal.
“You have many targets to achieve upto ending March, be it YSS Cup,  capex or general activities.”
While sharing the details about the mega plantation drive being carried out by the Department, he said, “As u know, our Department is launching a mega Plantation Drive across J&K on 28th March under the supervision of Principal Secretary to Government Department Of Youth Services and Spots J&K Mr Alok Kumar and the most beautiful and alluring aspect of this plan is that everyone has to hang his/her name plate on the plant/tree which he/she plants”.
 He hoped that all the stakeholders will show great enthusiasm and make this drive a great success.
Among others who attended the meeting include Jatinder Mishra Deputy Director YS&S, Ravi Kumar Deputy Director (Plan), Dr Hartej Singh Principal Government College Of Physical Education Ganderbal, Accounts Officer Sunil Kumar Sharma, SO Planning section Showqat Ahmed, I/C Media and Publicity Wing Azhar Hajini and Aijaz Ahmed Dar.
