Srinagar, Mar 25 :The inaugural function of 15th Sub-Junior National Soft Tennis Championship for Boys and Girls was held at Gindun Sports Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar on 24-03-2022. Abid Hussain, Additional Commissioner Kashmir was the chief guest on the inaugural function and Coulibaly D Herve, Diplomat Burkina Faso, West Africa, Nuzhat Ara Divisional Sports Officer (K) J&K Sports Council, Nusrat Gazala Sports Officer (C) J&K Sports Council, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar Manager Gindun Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar, Shafqat Shafi Manager Indoor Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium were the guest of honour on the occasion.
N.G.Vegda Executive Director Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India was also present during the inaugural function of the competition. Among these Dilbagh Singh departmental Tennis coach J&K Sports Council, Raja G N Wani, Senior President Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Vice President Sameer Ahmad, Joint Secretary Asif Altaf and Sheeraz Ahmad Treasure J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association respectively. More than 350 players and officials from 20 states/union territories of India are participating in the competition which will remain continue upto 28-03-2022.
The concluded function of the competition shall be conducted on 28-03-2022. The chief guest in his speech have appreciated the works of the J&K Sports Council which provides plate form for all categories of players and also encouraged the Boys and Girls who came from different states/union territories of India. Dr. Gh. Hassan General, Secretary J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association thanked chief guests, guest of honour, officials from Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India other state Secretaries of Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India other dignitaries, media persons health services and other agencies who spare there precious and valuable time during the inaugural function.
The J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association is very thankful to Nuzhat Gull, Secretary Sports Council who provides full support in conducting such events. The Secretary, J&K Sports Council is interesting to continue the National level Sports competition in Soft Tennis in future for betterment of Sports lovers of J&K.
