SP College in collab with JKACS organize TB awareness programme

Srinagar, Mar 24: Red Ribbon Club of S P College Srinagar in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Aids Control Society (JKACS) today organized Tuberculosis (TB) awareness programme on World TB Day.

The programme threw light on TB disease, its causes and preventions.

Assistant professor, Department of Zoology, Dr Javid Hussain Sheikh delivered his lecture and responded to the queries from the participants.

On the occasion, a painting competition was also held on the theme “invest to end TB and save lives “. The volunteers displayed their talent in the form of paintings.

Principal S P College, Prof (Dr) Khurshid Ahmad Khan encouraged the student and volunteers for participating in the awareness programme.

The programme concluded with participants taking pledge to make people aware and society alike about TB disease.
