District Police Ganderbal organised Plantation drive at DPL alongwith the NOKs of Police Martyrs to celebrate “Azadi ka Amrit Mahautsov”under CAP

Ganderbal, Mar 24: As a part of Aazadi Ka Amrit Maha Utsav, in the memory of Police Martyrs today Ganderbal Police launched a Plantation Drive along with NoKs of Police Martyrs at DPL Ganderbal by planting hundreds of saplings of plants with the aim and motive Green JK Drive.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS Plantation Drive was launched in which ASP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yehya-JKPS, DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Shri Ghulam Hassan-JKPS, DySP DAR Ganderbal Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS, SHOs including other officers took part with fervour and enthusiasm.
Through this Plantation Drive Ganderbal Police aimed to propagate the message to general public that plantation drive should be entailed/inculcated among people as fundamental duties towards environment. People should maintain balanced relation with the environment for future sustainability.
The aim of this initiative is also to promote greenery in our establishments as a part of larger sustainable Ecological Development.
The preservation of our ecology assumes importance so as to stabilize our ecosystem in order to preserve the ecological diversity within it.
As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahautsav the NoKs of Police Martyr’s also took their pivotal part in Plantation Drive to Commemorate Police Martyrs.
