MC Udhampur conducts cleanliness cum Sanitation drive at Devika Park

Udhampur, Mar 23:  A cleanliness cum sanitation drive was today conducted by members of Municipal Council Udhampur led by President   Dr. Jogeshwar Gupta drive here at Devika park.  The   Scouts & Guides and teachers of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School also participated in the drive.

The members of the Council, Anil Arora,Vikram Salathia,  Vimal Sharma ( Patwari), Ashok Sharma ( Ex Deputy Director Sports) and SKC (MCU Udhampur) also participated in the drive  .

Speaking on the occasion, President MC highlighted the importance of maintaining sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene. He appealed the participants to keep their surroundings clean and also motivate others for the same.  He called upon the public to discard the use of polythene, maintain hygiene, keeping water resources clean for a holistic clean environment in the district.  President MC also thanked all the participants who participated in the drive and appealed the general public to maintain cleanliness around the holy Devika.
