DLSA Ganderbal observes World Water Day

Ganderbal, Mar 23: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal in collaboration with R.P School, Nagbal organized a programme today to observe “World Water Day ” in which students participated with great enthusiasm and exuberance. The programme started with the recitation of the holy Quran and was followed by the significance of the holy water-Zam Zam.

During the programme, students gave paramount information about the conservation of water and scarcity of drinking water for future. They also highlighted the deterioration of the lakes and water bodies of Kashmir and emphasized on adopting the preventive measures to safeguard them.

Students of R.P School also performed skits regarding saving water and preventing water from pollution.

While speaking on the occasion, Adv. Umar Rashid Wani appreciated the students for their commendable performance. He impressed on valuing water which is important as a basic necessity of life. He stressed on spreading awareness among the masses for water harvesting which can help to save water for our future generations.

On the occasion, all the participants pledged to preserve water during day to day activities highlighted the deterioration of the lakes and water bodies of Kashmir and emphasized on adaptation of preventive measures to safeguard them.

Students of R.P School also performed skits regarding saving water and preventing it from pollution.

He impressed upon creating awareness among the masses for water harvesting which can help to save water for our future generations.

On the occasion, all the participants pledged to play their individual role in preservation of water during daily activities.
