Toursim Dept Organized Ethneco Spring Festival at Sagg Eco Village, Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Mar 19: As a part of ongoing series of spring festivals the Department of tourism in collaboration with Sagg eco Village organized an Ethneco Spring festival at wudur wattlar Ganderbal.

Malik Waseem, Deputy Director Tourism Recreation and Deena Khalid Peer, Deputy Director Tourism Publicity were present on the occasion.

The main highlights of the festival were local ethnic /organic food, local Pashto music and trekking expedition by local schoolchildren. A huge number of tourists local as well as domestic especially from Pune and Mumbai participated in the event.

Sagg Eco Village is a natural farm cum cultural recreational retreat center in Wudur Wattlar, Ganderbal. With a mission to build integrative and regenerative lifestyles and communities, Sagg has created a facility on the Harmukh foothills overlooking the Sindh and Nigeen Valleys that integrates ecological and cultural resources and modern technology in a unique blend.

The facilities include mud huts, dormitories, recreational play areas, a garden restaurant and a natural food processing workshop.

Sagg designs, develops and promotes recreational, educational and lifestyles services, spaces, products and programs for individuals, families and groups. Sagg currently offers Eco-friendly recreational retreats and expeditions for individuals, groups and organizations, including eco-stays, treks, camps, parties and events, Off-beat educational and business camps and retreats, Health foods & lifestyle products, and Coaching and consulting services for ecological entrepreneurship.
