Team of Officers visits Village Ghaar Majoor; resolves public issues

Jammu, Mar 19: A team of local administration led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Chowki Choura, Virender Gupta, today visited Village Ghaar Majoor and addressed scores of local issues.

Accompanied by Dr. Raman Jandyal, Tehsildar Chowki Choura and ADMO ISM, AEE PHE, Mechanical, officials of PWD, RDD, the SDM attended a Public outreach camp to redress the people’s grievances.

The Sarpanch, PRI members and local villagers projected several demands and the same were addressed on the spot.

Later, the team visited under construction PWD Guest House Majoor, which was forcibly occupied by its land-donor. The land owner was persuaded to vacate the site, while the accompanying  PWD official was asked to prepare a DPR of balance work to make it functional.

After that, the team visited Govt Ayurvedic Dispensary, which too was occupied by its land-donor. The ADMO ISM was directed to make the facility  functional from the next working day.  The accompanying JE PWD/PHE was accordingly asked to complete the remaining work.

 During the visit, Panchayat Ghar Majoor was found to be in shabby condition, wherein concerned Agency was exhorted to make it functional. The issue of a link road of Majoor Paya was also resolved  at Ward No.7.The team also inspected the ongoing developmental works in the  village Majoor, including the work of  Primary Health Centre, Ghaar  being executed by the PWD.

Similarly, the team visited village Kanehri, listened to the issues of locals and distributed Land Passbooks amongst the villagers.

 The issue of the playground at Government Primary School, Kanehri was also resolved and the BDO Chowki Choura was asked to enclose the same with its boundary wall.
