Single Cow Dairy unit Distributed at Bandipora

Bandipora, Mar 19: Department of Animal Husbandry, Bandipora today organised an event for the distribution of Single Cow Dairy Units, Chaff cutters and other accessories among the beneficiaries selected under TSP from Tribal Villages of Shokbaba, Kudara and Sumlar.

On the occasion 38 Beneficiaries including 08 women were benefitted under the scheme.

CAHO Bandipora,  said these programmes are   aimed  to double farmers’ income.

He said government is working on several schemes on dairy development to lift the rural economy and improve livelihoods.

The event was attended by DDC Member Arin, Gh Mohuidin, District Treasury officer, Rafiq Ah Shah (Member), Chief Agriculture Officer  Mujtaba Yahya,  (Member), District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Dr Showkat (Member), BDC Chairman Arin, Gh Rasool Khan, Block Veterinary officer, Dr M Ramzan Chopan besides PRIs and other officials of the Department.
