Implementation of Mission Youth Self-Employment schemes reviewed in Rajouri

124 new Tejaswini, Mumkin cases in process

Rajouri, Mar 19: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the implementation of the self employment generation schemes being implemented in the district under Mission Youth.

Officers present in the meeting included CPO, Mohammad Khurshid and Assistant Director Employment, Rekha Bali

The meeting held a detailed discussion concerning progress (physical and financial) under Mumkin and Tejaswani schemes being implemented in the district under Mission Youth.

The Assistant Director Employment informed that 124 newly approved cases of twin schemes are being processed, while the entrepreneurship training of female candidates under Tejaswini scheme will be started next week.

Similarly, the DDC also reviewed the other self employment generation schemes of the Mission Youth like Spurring Entrepreneurship and scheme for unemployed dental surgeons.

The DDC said that initiatives like Mission Youth and other self-employment generation schemes have been launched by the Government for the welfare of the youth.

Stressing on the need for bringing more educated and unemployed youth under the ambit of different Government schemes, he asked the concerned officers to give wide publicity to the schemes under Mission youth.

The DDC also instructed the concerned to make dedicated efforts to generate more employment avenues in the district to help the unemployed youth.
