DC Ramban reviews petitions seeking change in land use cases

Ramban, Mar 17: District Level Committee (DLC)   today met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam to review the petitions seeking change in Agriculture land use.

The meeting was attended by ACR, Dherinder Sharma, ACD Zameer Rishu, GM DIC, Vishwjeet, Executive Engineers of PWD, JPDCL, DFO, CAO, CHO and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner, enquired about the status of NOCs being issued in the favour of the applicants and applications received till date, besides their reporting and follow up status by the concerned departments.

Threadbare discussion was held with regard to the process of change in land use from agricultural to non-agricultural activities in the district.

The DC directed concerned members to ensure timely issuance of NOCs to the applicants after proper verification of documents and rules under land Conversion.

The Officers were asked to strictly follow the  guidelines issued by the Government as per the latest provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act.
