03 durg peddlers arrested by Pulwama Police ; Contraband substances recovered

Pulwama,Mar 17:Acting tough against drug peddlers in District Pulwama, a Police Party from Police Station Pulwama established a naka at Pinglena Pulwama.

During naka checking a truck bearing registration No. PB06M-2585 was intercepted for checking in which three persons were boarded. During search 4.5Kg of fukki was recovered from the said vehicle.

However, the accused persons have been arrested on spot which were identified as 1. Jeet Masih S/o Munshi Massi. 2. Mandeep Singh S/o Kashmir Singh. 3. Gurpinder Kumar S/O Chanchal nath all residents of Gurdaspora and the said vehicle used for commission of crime has also been seized.

Accordingly case FIR No. 57/2022 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Pulwama and investigation has been initiated.

People are requested to come forward with information regarding drug peddlers of their areas so that drug menace can be eradicated from the society.
