J&K poised to usher best of times under PM Modi: Slathia

Ramnagar Samba, Mar 16:Pradesh BJP Vice President Surjeet Singh Slathia today said Jammu and Kashmir poised to usher in best of the times under Prime Minister Modi with development taking centre stage and democracy flourishing in full bloom.

Addressing people at Ramnagar in the Samba district,  Slathia said that while the developmental momentum is already in full gear, the Union Territory is all set to become investment hub due to initiatives of the Centre, which will eventually lead to growth and generation of jobs for educated unemployed, skilled and unskilled workforce. The budget allocations approved by Parliament are reflective of the Centre’s intent to put Jammu and Kashmir on the path of inclusive and holistic development, with every region and sub region getting their due share, he added.

 Slathia referred to the impending elections to the Legislative Assembly and said it will not be only to choose the representatives but to shape the destiny of Jammu and Kashmir for making it a most vibrant unit of strong India, which is treading on the path of development and prosperity on the plank of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.

The Pradesh Vice President exhorted the cadre to gear up for the big democratic exercise and to ensure the blooming of lotus all over to ensure political stability, which holds key for satiating urges and aspirations of all segments of society, especially women and youth.

Pradesh BJP General Secretary Dr Davinder Kumar Manayal also addressed the workers and called for further galvanizing the party upto the booth level to meet the challenges faced to Jammu and Kashmir. He said a strong BJP holds promise for socio-economic upliftment of the people and holistic development of  the Union Territory.

Dr Manayal referred to the initiatives taken for development of Jammu and Kashmir with thrust on development and progress, upgrading the utility services, improving road networks and ensuring basic necessities in the rural, border and far-flung areas.

            Besides Block Development Council Chairman Jogeshwar Singh Darshan Choudhary and Vice President BJP Samba Vijay Singh, prominent among those present on the occasion included  Mohan Lal Sharma, President BJP Ramgarh Shamsher Singh, Vice President MC Ramgarh Kamlesh Kumari, Ramapal Sharma, Sarpanches Panches and Corporators
