Bandipora, Mar 15: Showkat Hussain Ganie today assumed charge as District Information Officer, Bandipora.
Showkat Hussain, has earlier served as Administrative Officer GMC Anantnag. On his joining as DIO Bandipora he was accorded a warm welcome by the DIC Bandipora staff. He also held an introductory cum interactive session with the DIC employees.
While chairing a meeting of officials, the DIO took a detailed review of the functioning of the department and held discussion with the officials.
He was briefed by the officials regarding various activities of the department.
The DIO enjoined upon the officials to work in coordination and cooperation. He emphasized on maximum possible effort and discipline from the officials.
