DC inaugurates Voluntary Blood Donation camp at DH Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Mar 15: Health department Kishtwar today organised a voluntary blood donation camp here at District Hospital Kishtwar.

 Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma inaugurated the camp in presence of Chief Medical Officer Dr. R. S. Manhas; Medical Superintendent, Dr. Parvaiz Iqbal Wani; BMO Dr Anil Kumar; Nodal Officer AYUSH, BDO Dacchan, other officers, Staff of DH Kishtwar and students of ANMT School Kishtwar, besides blood donors from Para military forces.

During the camp, 29 points of blood were collected from the donors including CRPF and CISF personnel.

Speaking on this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner urged people to donate blood voluntarily as it is a great service to humanity and helps in saving precious lives.
