Army, Civil Administration organize career counseling, awareness tour for youth of Chhatroo village

Kishtwar, Mar 10: Indian Army in coordination with Civil Administration organized a career counseling and awareness tour for young minds of Chhatroo village.

The tour was attended by 140 students from far flung areas of Kishtwar District. The visit to Civil Administration offices and Indian Army career counseling corner gave the youth an opportunity to learn about the functioning of civil administration.

Students were enthralled to visit SDM office, Tehsildar office, BDO office, Primary Health Center & Police Station Chhatroo which gave them invaluable cognizance about the modus operandi of various departments.

Motivated youth were also briefed by the Indian Army about various career opportunities in defence forces. Gen- Next was highly motivated by the interaction conducted during the tour and many expressed their desire to join the main-stream and lend a helping hand for overall development of the area.

 Tour was culminated by the felicitation of students who scored well in 10th and 12th class board exams. The Indian Army coordinated the event with Civil Administration and provided refreshment to all students during the event.
