Jammu, Mar 9 : One person was killed and 15 others injured in a mysterious blast at busy Slathia Chowk in Udhampur district on Wednesday, officials said.
A police officer told GNS that there was a blast this afternoon in the busy market, leading to on the spot death of a civilian and injuries to 15 others.
Soon after the information, senior police officers along with experts reached the spot and are trying to ascertain the nature the blast which hitherto remains mysterious.
The identity of the deceased as well as the injured persons was being ascertained, the police officer.
