Highlights importance of this day
Srinagar, Mar 8: On ‘International Womens Day’, Lake Conservation and Management Authority today organised a programme around Dal Lake, here.
Project Officer (PO) Watershed Management Division (WMD), Gazalla Abdullah held interaction with the Women Dal dwellers and highlighted the importance of this day. She emphasised on the unique linkage between the women empowerment, livelihood relationship and the Dal conservation.
She concluded with the message that we should conserve our Dal Lake on a sustainable basis for our livelihood in future.
The Project officers also wished all the women of the country a very happy Women’s day.
