Director Agriculture Kashmir reviews achievements under CCS/ CAPEX budget 2021

Srinagar, Mar 5: The Director Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare (AP&FW) Kashmir, Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal on Saturday chaired a meeting of the officers to review the progress under different Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) and CAPEX 2021-22 at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi, here.

The physical and financial achievements/expenditure under various CSSs and CAPEX budget 2021-22 were discussed threadbare in the meeting.

The Director stressed to expedite utilisation of funds under CAPEX 2021-22 to ensure maximum achievement at the earliest. He asked the officers for strict adherence to quality parameters and Codal formalities while executing different works.

He said that every single penny that has been allocated under CAPEX/CCS must be utilised 100 percent for the benefit of the farming community of the region. He also asked the officers of different wings to work in close coordination to uphold the farmers’ interests.

Iqbal took latest updates under PM KISAN, PMKMDY, NFSM, status of Soil Health Card distribution, farm wise production as per approved cropping plan, submission of DPRs under NBHM status of registration of Beekeepers on Madhukranti portal under NBHM and directed the concerned for cent percent target achievement under different programmes.

Feedback in respect of mushroom, apiculture, Vegetable clusters and departmental farms was also reviewed in the meeting.

Earlier, the Director was briefed by the concerned officers regarding the status of expenditure in respect of different schemes.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (inputs), Joint Director Agriculture Engineering, Joint Director Agriculture Farms, Joint Director Agriculture Marketing, Joint Director Agriculture Mushroom/Apiculture, Deputy Director Agriculture (Central)Kashmir, Director Rakhs And Farms and Chief Agriculture Officers of Kashmir Division besides other senior officers.
